Are You Using Your Talents? - Book Recommendation

STRENGTHS FINDER 2.0 is a book that I highly recommend for anyone wondering what your strengths and talents are. Many people ask me how they know or discover what their strengths are. Here is a great book to help you. It is written on the premise that very few individuals know what they are best at and much of its information is based on research and data. It is a very quick read and it will take most people an hour or less to read. At the back of the book is a code to do a quick on-line assessment that will provide you with your top five strengths.

It offers many strategies for applying your strengths. After 25 years in this industry, I am a firm believer that if you use your strengths and talents in your work you will be more engaged, very successful and happy. This is a great book for anyone contemplating changing jobs or careers or in a job search. It is a good tool to give your young adult in high school or post-secondary as they are preparing for a job or career. It is also a great tool to use in the workplace to motivate your team. Remember if people use their strengths, they will be more engaged and happier.
