Newly Created Role for a Dynamic CEO - Based in Winnipeg

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Established in 1984, the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre Inc. (Ma Mawi) has worked for over 30 years to support and rebuild Aboriginal families in Winnipeg. The Centre’s goal is to help Aboriginal families reclaim their inherent role and responsibility as caregivers of their children. This is accomplished through initiatives aimed directly at supporting families and delivering a wide array of prevention and support based programs and services for children in care and the community at large. Ma Mawi works together with families, partners, funders and governments to create community based solutions that build local capacity for self-care. The organization manages over fifty programs while identifying, supporting and responding to the changing needs of the community. Ma Mawi is committed to creating and delivering culturally appropriate community based programs and services delivered through committed staff at the Centre's three neighbourhood sites.

Now with 200+ staff and dedicated volunteers, Ma Mawi is seeking a transformational and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a newly created role that continues to build on the success of the organization. The CEO will be a dedicated and highly respected leader that is passionate about fulfilling the objectives of the organization to achieve the vision of a safe, healthy and happy interdependent community.
