On September 29, 2011 at the Ninth Annual Gala dinner in Vancouver, Higgins Executive Search was awarded with a GOLD level Progressive Aboriginal Relations Award (PAR) by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) for its relations with Aboriginal communities.
PAR is the first program of its kind in the world. Its purpose is to help organizations gauge and improve their commitment to Aboriginal relations, and to earn the right to use a hallmark to demonstrate their achievements.
PAR companies are certified by the National Quality Institute and are recognized nationally as leading corporate citizens that have proven the business case for sustainable Aboriginal relations. The PAR criteria assesses four sectors: employment, business development, individual capacity development, and community relations.
