The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) was founded in 1984 by a small group of visionary business and community leaders committed to the full participation of Aboriginal Peoples and communities in Canada’s economy. As a national highly visible and respected non-profit organization, CCAB offers knowledge, resources, and programs to both mainstream and Aboriginal-owned member companies to increase employment, foster business relations and create economic opportunities for Aboriginal Peoples, businesses, and communities across Canada.

In striving towards their mission, CCAB conducts research, maintains a growing membership network, and runs a number of programs including: the Foundation for the Advancement of Aboriginal Youth (FAAY), Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame (ABHF), Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) Program, Award for Excellence in Aboriginal Relations, and the Aboriginal Business Mentorship Program. 

CCAB is seeking a new President & CEO to continue to advance these initiatives as well as identifying & developing innovative ways to enhance the value of the organization.
 
Reporting to a national Board of Directors, the President & CEO will be a strong collaborator and strategic leader with a proven track record in developing sustainable partnerships and relationships with government, community, organizational, and business partners throughout Canada. The new CEO will be responsible for the overall integrity, enhancement, and maintenance of CCAB’s research initiatives, programs, events and various other initiatives.
