The School of Indigenous Education (SIE) offers a broad spectrum of academic programs combined with support services to ensure the success of students. As part of a comprehensive and ambitious strategy, RRC further enhances these programs and services for Aboriginal (First Nation, Inuit and Métis) students and communities by partnering with Aboriginal organizations, agencies, schools and leadership to deliver community-based training. The School achieves this mission through the Aboriginal Education and ACCESS Programs Department, Aboriginal Student Support & Community Relations Department and the Adult Learning Centre.

Red River College is seeking a Dean for its School of Indigenous Education who is an energetic, confident leader well-grounded in Indigenous issues and passionate about improving post-secondary educational opportunities, supports and outcomes for students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds. Building on the College’s existing efforts and the theme identified in its strategic plan to Lead Aboriginal Achievement, the Dean will thrive on building collaboration and providing strategic leadership in academic programming and student support services that enhance RRC’s desire and ability to meet the needs of diverse learners and communities.
